Coasted is built by Kuadro. This notice covers coasted.app and the beta signup form. It's short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you join the beta, we keep what you type into the form:
- Your first name and email address
- Which option sounds most like you, and which phone you use
- Your Instagram handle, if you share it
- How you found us (for example, the Instagram post you clicked) and the time you signed up
This site uses no advertising trackers.
Analytics, only if you say yes
When you first visit, we ask before counting anything. If you choose "Sounds good," we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and which posts brought them here. It sets cookies so it can tell a new visit from a repeat one. We don't send it your name or email.
If you choose "No thanks," Google Analytics never loads. You can change your mind anytime with "Cookie choices" at the bottom of any page, and we'll clear its cookies.
How we use it
- To invite you to the Coasted beta and email you about it
- To shape the product around the people who signed up
- To see which posts and channels bring people to Coasted
We use your info only for Coasted. We never sell it or share it with advertisers.
Why we're allowed to
You gave us your consent when you checked the box on the form, and for analytics, when you chose "Sounds good." You can take it back anytime by replying to any of our emails or writing to the address below.
Where it's stored
Your signup is stored on Amazon Web Services in the European Union (Ireland). Notification emails are sent through Amazon's email service. If you allow analytics, that data is processed by Google (Google Ireland Limited) and kept for 14 months. We keep your info until the beta ends or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we have about you, or ask us to stop emailing you. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also file a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Portugal, that's the CNPD.
